We seem to have hit a major lull in the beginning of our busy season. So I'm hoping to finish up a couple of books today since I'm here by myself. I normally have a few going at once but right now I have too many going for my comfort.

I'm about to finish another book! Yay!

So, I have a couple ideas for the R-a-T. One game and one mini-challenge. I don't want any spies to see. Should I PM both of you, Mary: HDLS & Teresa?

Sure PM both of us! Mary is our challenge coordinator/record keeper person and I'm just straight up nosy, LOL!

Is it?? I forgot to specify a size. Is it *too* big for the forum? It isn't taking up much space on my screen so I'm just making sure it's not crazy huge in reality, compared to what I'm seeing. Should I edit the size down?

No, it isn't too big, Teresa, in that regard. You can always re-size those. Sometimes I just do one measurement - either height or width - and adjust that. Say, to 200 or 300, so it can still be read? Most pictures will adjust the aspect ratio so you don't have to fiddle-fart with the other... say if you pick height=200, then leave width off altogether, and vice versa.

Yeah, I just left off the size altogether because it slipped my mind, and that's the size that came up. I guess with Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ having a limit, it couldn't really get super huge!

I'm only two books behind now. Yay! I might read another HP, just to catch up some. Though, I've been on a mystery kick lately. I'm stalled on my audiobook because it is a Romance and I'm afraid something bad is going to happy to the twin babies! Eeep! I'm such a wuss.

Eeep!! I hope nothing bad happens!

I'm almost 50% to my 2013 goal. And it's not even June! Although, I'm not reading nearly as much as I should be this week since I'm sitting here babbling more often than reading, lol.

LOL! I completely understand that "one more refresh" feeling/compulsion, Teresa.

Man-oh-man! That first week was rough on me. For awhile there, I was afraid I'd never read another book. I was slightly ahead on my yearly goal before Round II started. But, alas, that was before the 12th!

Whoa, this marks 2 weeks since Round 2 started!

Okay... back to my book....

Just FYI: I may not be around much this weekend. I have so much laundry to catch up on, plus I have to do some other cleaning so I'm going to try to focus on getting all of that done, plus I work a lot of hours Sat & Sun, AND I need to really focus on my reading. Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know in case you wonder where I've gone to, hehe!

I may try and finish up during the R-a-T. I do like to cook at least four recipes before I consider a cookbook "read." I guess I better work in getting to the grocery store for supplies!

We are going the tour The Breakers in Newport today and I probably won't be back until 8 or 9 tonight. But I will come on when I get home and see what's going on and put my 2 cents in for the read-a-thon.

Phew! I'm spent. Spreadsheet is updated (gasp, 3 days since our last update!), totals are sent to LK for the Sunday/Monday check-in. We're up to 64 books! Hoorah.

I feel like I haven't had much time to sniff around Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ for days! Well, I knew I wouldn't but still! I'm off tomorrow and I'm going to have to figure out how to balance Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ catch-up with laundry catch-up (oops, I left a load in the washer and now I have to rewash in the morning) with book reading and whatever assorted household tasks come up tomorrow. Then, I work at 4:30 in the morning on Tuesday, blah. I should also make a list of books I want to tackle in May. I'm in a couple of Buddy Reads in some other groups and it would be nice to not forget about those, LOL.

No more babies for me. My youngest brother is getting married next spring. Mom and I are already naming their babies. 5 kids and only 1 grandchild (my daughter)for my parents.

No more for me, either! I have one boy, 12. He's all we wanted and he's pretty awesome.

Just one for me and that was all I needed. I have a 15 yr old daughter.
