message 65: by Mellady77 (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments I just finished reading The Host and my favorite character is the kid, Jaime, because of how he saw everything. And Ian too of course! Sorry about being vague but I'm trying not to spoil anything. I've just started on American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I started with his book Neverwhere after reading Breaking Dawn and I really love his writing too.

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks for not trying to spoil anything, I'm currently reading it. :)

message 67: by Laney (new)

Laney Jaime (from The Host) kinda reminded me of Jake. I'm not really sure why but I pictured him just like I pictured Jake...except smaller.

Christa (is on top of the world!) (obsesedwbooks) | 19 comments I'm reading a book called Nadya by Pat Murphy. The story takes place in the mid 1800's in western America
and is about a girl who's a wearwolf. It's incredably detailed.

message 78: by Anna (new)

Anna (annapixie) Some hours ago I finished "Captains of sand" by Jorge Amado. I think, it's very emotional and sad roman about homeless children, which have friendship, but haven't mom's love and caress. I was crying...
And now I'm reading Tent of Miracles by the same.

message 85: by Sharda (new)

Sharda | 558 comments OH....and i just finished the Last Vampire Series by Christopher Pike. It was pretty good, except that i think the epilogue was a bit lame compared to the reat of it.And it's interesting if you really try to analyze the content. you can actually find some spiritual points in it...
