So have you challenged yourself to read # of books?
How many, and are there more or less than last year and why is that?

I have challenged myself to 45 books, I am not counting re-reading books in there, do you guys actually do that? I have more books than last year and less than the year before that. So far I have read 5 new books :)

and what about you?

Mine's 60. Last year's reading challenge I put my goal of 50 books and completed it by reading 51! So happy. I definitely want to challenge myself by kicking it up a notch to 10 more. But the REAL challenge is trying to overreact when I see So many new library books come in and BADLY wanting to check out most of them, but only checking out no more than 4 at a time.

I think I have 60 set for this year. I've read 8 !

My goal last year was 52 and unfortunately I only read 44 (which is still great for me!). This year I chose 40 because I'm getting married in May and I know that pretty soon my reading will have to slow down a bit. So far I'm already at 9 though :)

Set a goal of 100, same as last year but I was I think 5 short from my goal last year. Jus started my 10th this morning so need to pick my game up!

20 because I love books, but I don't think you have to read a certain amount to be a book worm, I like to enjoy my books...also I really want a reasonable goal that I'll have time to reach

I set a goal of 25 because I thought it was a reasonable goal and I don't have that much time to read as I used to because school. I already read 4, though! =DD

Mine is 50 & I've read 15 already, I'm seriously thinking of increasing it cos I might reach my goal by mid-2014.

& I think counting books you're re-read is cheating but then again you're taking the time to read them so maybe that's okay... Hmmm its a toughie.

@amanda , im not counting them that Is why I am behind ;) I do wish thay you can add books you've already read to the currently reading thing without changing the actual date and stuff.. cuz now it just looks like I am lazy ( I am rereading almost my entire book collection XD)

I set my goal low at 25 books because the last 2 years I didn't meet my challenge. I am off to good start this year so I changed it to 30. I hope that I can keep reading.

Beginning of the year my goal was to read 20 books. Now that it's toward the end of May and I've read 15 books already. So now I'm going to push for 30 books for 2014.

My goal is to read 100 books and I have already read 55. I am 15 books ahead of my goal.

my goal for this year is to read 15 books. this is first real book challenge so i wanted to started off light and not overwhelm myself. but if i go over 15 that would be great too. so right now im on book #5 for the challenge.

My goal's 35 this year, and I'm 16 books through - not counting rereading, otherwise it'd be a lot higher! I'm two ahead at the moment, which I'm very happy with because I fell six behind a month ago...

I have mine set at 70. So far I've read 36. I am counting rereading books cause you read it again so why not? I havent done the reading challenge before. This is my first year on the site.

So its almost the end of the year how is everyones goals doing? My is doing alright. I had to push it back to 200 then I'm shooting for 220. I don't think I'm going to make my goal of 365 though.

I finished mine of 50 but it was mostly because I've been reading a lot of comics lately.

I set my reading challenge late - around September, for 30 books. I'm finished in my 18th now, and I'll be catching up during the holidays!xx

I think mine is set at 70...about 15 books away. I have fallen off the wagon a little. I usually read the most at work but I got stuck watching gilmore girls on Netflix and just couldnt stop until it was over...and then my boyfriend started school so I've been trying to help with that...really busy!! I will finish the challenge though!
