Keep us posted how it is, looking forward to getting into it next month!

The Hayhurst book (non-fiction!) would jump to the top of the list. And of course moments after I write this, my library system says "in transit" on the hayhurst book. Better finish up Altered Carbon fast.

Right now I'm reading Fury of the Demon. I wasn't too happy about certain events in the previous book and I'm not so wild about by the series as I was but I still want to know how it end so I hope this book doesn’t disappoint too much. Because there is apparently one more book coming out, hopefully it will be the last but it is urban fantasy so who knows.

Except I want to skip all of them and go buy The Tropic of Serpents and The Martian!

So it's YOUR fault if you hate it!

Just started Memories And Adventures by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. So far it's good as I would expect from the author of The Lost World.

I hear it gets better after page 500.

Stormlight Archive is not for everyone. But I love the hell out of it. I don't need to get through 500 pages.

Haha, only 496 to go!"
So are you saying you are bored after 4 pages?

I finished listening to Altered Carbon and wasn't terribly excited by it (My Review).
Listening to Honor Among Thieves and really enjoying it so far.

Ditto what Rob said. Man, that book has so much praise from me, if someone DOESN'T like it, I'll feel like I let them down by setting expectations too high...

Man I hope you like it.."
I better like it. There's about 45 hours of audio. I won't be listening to much else this month
Haha. It's a book I love a lot, but can understand why it's not for everyone. So I'm reluctant to recommend it. I'm always sad if someone doesn't love it like I do.

Thanks for putting your hand up to take responsibility if I don't like it. I was just going to blame Rob before.

I think if we look at the record I've been right about the books I recommend to you more than I've been wrong thank you very much! ^_^

Yep, great book, one of my first 5 stars of the year!
Have read The Ghost of the Mary Celeste since then - an interesting book, told through different points of view (including Conan Doyle) but the resolution was a bit unexpected.
Currently in the middle of Influx, which is really interesting.

Influx has an interesting premise. Guy invents an antigravity machine, then the government arrives and covers it up, just like fusion power and the cure for cancer.

I'll be starting that today/tomorrow.

I am so happy with Audible, I hope you like it too :)

I wasn't happy about the quality of the audiobook for Altered Carbon, but that's not typical for me from audible, so if you don't like that book, I wouldn't hold that against audible.

Also a good point. I probably should return that one..

Rob,
Random question that reveals my ignorance. How did you insert that link to your review? Pretty cool.
