Wuthering Heights is a definite classic Mike :)

I like the sound of The House of Frozen Dreams Carolyn.

Oh, I love bookmarks! I'm so jealous and happy for you at the same time ;-)

I'm a bit the same Mike, but really, life's too short and you read what you like and enjoy. I too remember disliking Animal Farm when I was at school, but also the same with Little Women and Pride and Prejudice - some people love them and read them over and over.

Never hurts to try again, and see if your tastes have matured lol. Although to be honest, I'm usually found in the pages of an Epic Fantasy novel so I'm not sure the classics are right for me.

Definitely very different to Fantasy!
Definitely very different to Fantasy!

I imagine they will be. If a dragon or Magician turns up in Wuthering Heights I'll be stunned lol.

It's definitely worth a read. I just finished the audio. Hope you like it:)

Salvos Sue Grafton's X $6 and
Speaking in Bones Kathy Reichs $4
(both on my wishlist)
and Vinnies (and this is Carolyn's fault, stand up and take the blame for enticing me into yet another series!)
Play To Kill $3.50
Two Evils $3 but marked down to $2 because of a little bit of water damage in the last pages

Brand new:
After You $32 due to book voucher. Strange to 'spend' that kind of money. A bit disturbing really!
A Fortunate Life $20, the same reason
Nora Webster withdrawn 20c, so excited as it was on my list
American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History $2 Vinnies Old Bar yesterday
The Redbreast $2 Vinnies
The Street Lawyer 50c Vinnies
Most of these on my tbr. Need to stop doing this really as I'm not reading due to studies..

It is signed by the author and is a numbered (71/100) limited edition proof.
Has anyone come across limited edition proofs before?

Haven't with books....I have with vinyl toys though..Artists often sell them off n number/sign them to sometimes recoup a bit of money plus collectors get something special.
I have just received notification from The Reading Room that I will receive an ARC of Castle of Dreams by Elise McCune - my first from them in a very long time! Yay!

Good for you, Brenda. I missed out on that one but am getting The Last Painting of Sara de Vos, so that will be good I hope.

Maybe another get together day we will be able to swap?

Whoa Marianne! I'll share the blame with Phrynne as I 've only read the first one in the series while Phrynne has read quite a few more :)

Of course I will! I have faith in myself. :)

And from Amazon: The Travelers by Chris Pavone and The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain.
I definitely acquire books faster than I can read them so I'm in good company here :)
Kiera if you left the cover pics off, it'd be a smaller post:) Just as many books, but less space used;) Well done on those!
