hi i remember seeing a book at Barnes and Noble not to long ago about a girl with an alien roommate. its the first time aliens are allowed to go to college (or room with people i cant remember)and so the alien is the only alien on campus and both the alien and the main character are girls. this is a young adult book. and it wasnt like a book that was proving aliens exist or anything like that just fiction. i think the book cover had a picture of a dorm on it. thanks for all the help

I was thinking of Singing the Dogstar Blues by Alison Goodman, although the alien there is male and the cover doesn't match. Just in case I thought I'd throw it out there.

Riley--if you put click on the Singing the Dogstar Blues book, up in the right hand side are a couple of pictures of covers of other books with the message Readers Also Enjoyed. Perhaps clicking on that and checking out the covers (or titles) will help something jump out at you? (And you can do the same thing with Farda's suggestion too.)
