December and January also fit an unannounced task.

I see your point... though I also see now that my vote isn't truly necessary lol

How is motherhood?

How is motherhood?"
Oh good, 700 miles feels nice and safe :) I couldn't remember where you were! Motherhood is wonderful and intense. Feels a little like an earthquake actually :) I'm very happy and also very tired!

I'm planning to be more active this season now that things have calmed down a little bit in the new city. In looking at the tasks, I'm really excited for this season! Already have lots of ideas and can't wait to start reading.

No, the warning was for southwest of Anchorage and we're southeast.

How true that is!

And hours of housework not done!

I probably didn't have as noble a reason as you have, but I've done the same. I have lots and lots on a so-called wish list and I mostly restrict my book buying to those on that list, but I know that I've strayed a time or two in recent months.

Reason, aka "excuse"!

I just bought two Poirot's that were on Kindle special and weren't even on my list. But I'll always want to have access to Poirot and my library didn't have these two titles!

Well done, Elizabeth!
Might be interesting to see how much our TBRs have increased by this time next year.

I don't know of a way to do this. You could email GR to support at goodreads dot com and ask if they have a way to do it.

ok...thanks.

Maybe you could use the Import/Export tool on your "My Books" page. It exports everything to a spreadsheet, then you could sort by read date, delete the non-2018 ones, then delete all the columns except for Title and Author. Copy what's left to your email and send.
I haven't given it a go but it's what I would try if I wanted to achieve what you said.

This isn't super easy, but it is a possible way to have all of your info on a spreadsheet. At the bottom of your My Books page is an Import/Export option. You can do an export to a CSV file. It takes a while for it to generate, but you can then save it in your documents, upload the file to Google Drive, and open with Google Sheets. Then you can sort it by Date read and just copy/paste your 2018 books and the other columns you want from the big sheet onto another new sheet. The only slow part is waiting for the list to generate.

Yay for you! Have a wonderful vacation. Arizona is always a good idea this time of year...especially when there's a baby to be seen :-)

You mean we can't sit at a computer all day and read and be on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ???

Thanks everyone for the advice.... and hope you have a great time in Arizona Elizabeth. I just got back from Egypt 10 days ago...and about to go see family in NY for the holidays.
As for the list, I wanted to email the list to my sister who asked me what I had been reading this year. I know I could just send her the link to my GR page...but wanted to do it in a more succinct way.

It was nice being in the sun and 70 for a few days. Home now, and raining, then 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow. It's nice to be home. ;-)
(And might I say that the baby is the most marvelous creation since her mother and grandmother?)

You go, Pearl! We're proud of you.
