While pictures of it are more reminiscent of an estate on an island, I think metaphorically and in reality, it captures the prompt.

Just completed #24 (hometown) - Sunset Beach by Mary Kay Andrews. This was a bit of a departure from Mary Kay Andrews' usual light-hearted, southern romances. It was almost like she combined her old Kathy mystery novels with her southern fare. I appreciated the sights and descriptions of my hometown. However, I found the relationship between the main character and the dishy guy far-fetched, and the editing was sloppy. Ok for brain candy. 3.5 stars
