Ugh, that is way too hard to narrow down. The last book I gave 5 stars too was Sadie by Courtney Summers and The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden is possibly my favourite book I've read this year.

I don’t even know where to start � I loved The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (what’s not to love about a book about books?), and Leave Me by Gayle Forman because I identified with the main character, My Seventh Monsoon: A Himalayan Journey Of Faith And Mission by Naomi Reed spoke just what I needed to hear at the time, I listened to Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine last year and thought it was amazing and heart-breaking…and I could keep going! How amazing that there are so many books, and they are so different from each other, that can draw us in and engross us!
Author?
I’ve read a couple of Francine Rivers this year and it’s reminded me that I really enjoy her work, but also love Di Morrissey and Judy Nunn.
Food?
I have to pick one???
Dessert?
It’s winter here at the moment, so my thoughts turn to apple crumble with custard and ice cream!
Candy?
Candy to me means a hard, sweet substance (like the hard coating on the outside of M&Ms), but I think the Americans take it to mean chocolate, so I’m going to say Lindt chocolate balls!
Drink?
I’m generally happy with water.
Color?
Blue � although I like all the colours at that end of the spectrum
Movie?
Maybe Mamma Mia � although that reminds me that I haven’t watched it for a while!
TV Show?
I love Call The Midwife, and last year’s UK season just finished here, so now we have to wait for a year to see the current season :-/
Sport/Game?
I’m not a sport-playing person. I like watching tennis, but generally only get interested during the Australian Open (although how good was Ashleigh Barty’s win at Roland-Garros the other day? Not that I saw it � I was asleep!). But I like playing board games or card games.
Musician?
I don’t really have favourites. I think my go-to artists, if I have to grab a specific CD to listen to, are probably Savage Garden, Elton John, the Bee Gees, or Rebecca St James.
Song?
I don’t really have a favourite for this either � but one that I downloaded recently was Sounds of Then (This is Australia) � it’s an oldie, but a goodie!
Animal?
I used to be a dog person, but I think I’m turning into a cat person� I’ve always loved dolphins as well, but obviously there’s no chance of keeping one of those as a pet! But I swam with them once, which was an amazing experience.
Item of clothing?
Jeans, and scarves � although I have to ditch both in summer!
School subject?
Ancient history � but I couldn’t choose it for senior because it was on at the same time as German �
Season?
Autumn or spring (not that we get much of either here in Brisbane!), then winter. And if we never had summer, that would be OK with me!
Holiday?
I love Christmas. I love the lead-up to it � not so much the fact that the whole of December is like an eating festival, but I love the sense of anticipation and hope that is in the air. Despite the stresses of finding gifts, buying extra food for parties, time running short to do all the things that people think need doing, I feel like most people are generally at their best in the lead-up to Christmas � we seem to become more generous and gracious, on the whole.

This is a hard one to answer...but for this year it would have to be The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers I really enjoyed learning more about his life and how the show came to be. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a great one that a read few years ago and loved so I still tell people to read it. Also anything by Agatha Christie.
