Book?: Oh dear, I have quite a few. The first book that I can recall as my favorite was Ann Likes Red by Dorothy Z. Seymour, and one of my last favorite novels was Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg.

Author?: Again, I have so many writers that I enjoy that it is too difficult to narrow my choice down to one. Some of them are Michael Chabon, Toni Morrison, Philip Roth, Douglas Adams Wilbur Smith, Margaret Atwood, Dan Brown, Christopher Moore, Jo Walton, Haruki Murakami, Emily Brontë, James McBride, Thomas Harris, Deborah Harkness, George Saunders, Ken Liu, Joanne Harris, Don DeLillo, Salman Rushdie, Ian McEwan, Madeleine L'Engle, Tom Holt, Diana Wynne Jones . . .
