This series is not my favourite Amanda M Lee series but it is growing on me. in this instalment, Bay and her cousins are looking into the murder of the town drunk and Bay is dealing with a new ghost at the newspaper. I quite liked this story and the pace of the mystery enough to keep me interested all the way through. I liked bay and the way she interacted with her cousins and family. I don't totally feel the chemistry between Landon and Bay but am happy to give it time. i will most likely move on to book 3 in this series.

This was so much better than I was expecting. It had a lot more depth and really showed the ways your brain can just mess with you without any permission whatsoever. I had a feeling what Linc's problem was from very early on but getting to know these two in current time and through flashbacks was a true pleasure. This is a second chance story and while Linc may have been the one who ran the first time, he definitely had a harder time with his decision. I really felt for both of them. Both wonderful guys, both unable to move on and neither running away from their new beginning. Big applause for Jace and his allowing Linc anywhere near him after all these years. This has some major triggers for those who have trouble with self harm or suicide attempts. There weren't any current ones but there was a lot of discussion of past behavior. Absolutely adored this one and will be starting the next one right away.

Review: I was blown away by this book so much packed in it. Noel Carson is a cop who starts the process of coming out in the book. Jody McShane (also known as Shane and Colby) is a survivor of sexual abuse as a child. Shane and his older brother Jason are deeply in debt between legal bills and medical bills. into this volatile mix add a best friend who was bashed to the point he has short term memory problems and secrets kept about what the second job of Jody is. Lots of angst and Lots of love.

It took me a little while to warm up to Alexei and Memory but as the story pulled me in, i found myself liking them more and more. I loved how their story was weaved into the overall story arc and catching up with other characters. I can't wait to see where this goes next.

So this book picks up right where the last one left off even though it's really the start of a new series. One that finds Vin coming home to find his house taken over by a menagerie and one damaged girl. A girl he's never managed to get out of his head after helping save her weeks before from the house where her father had her hidden away and restrained. Really only helping to save, because ultimately she saved herself, murdering her father in order to help those her father had kidnapped. She snapped the chains that bound her to giver them all a chance.

Mia has such an inner strength. One that's allowed her to bend not break under the terror inflicted upon her by her father's abuse. Now she's hiding from the press and the world that clammers to know her story at the one safe space in the storm. Her one release is taking care of the abandoned animals, Riley's provided to her from the shelter. But now Vin's home and stirs up all kinds of feelings she doesn't know how to process.

Vin's never been able to forget the damaged girl he helped liberate before running off on the last clue to his brothers whereabouts. But seeing her his home isn't helping him keep his hands off her. She deserves so much better in his mind that the older man that he is.

This series always reads so fast, but the darkness in each book is helps balance out the simple love stories quite well. I'm always sucked in and enjoy myself with the read. This was no exception. I was happy for Vin and Mia to help each other heal. They're each others port in the storm and well her menagerie and the dogs made me smile. I look forward to the next book in the series.

This was an okay read for me. Nothing I'll remember in a week but still a sweet little love story. Brooklyn really should have had to work much harder to get Austin back after being a d-bag but that's just my opinion. The sex was pretty good, their story was also pretty good. Like I said....pretty good read.

I really don't know why it's taken me so long to keep pushing through this series. It's such fun. I love the mix of humor and dark edgy elements. Of course Reyes is the best kind of dark and twisty. If you're going to be the son of Satan you should live up to it. And he certainly does. His and Charley's relationship is complicated by I loved getting to see more of them together in this book. Totally saw that apartment bit coming. ;)

Charley still manages to kick butt in this one, but I liked that she hasn't just shaken off everything that happened to her in the last book. It was traumatizing and she hasn't rebounded fully yet. Her home shopping network addiction had me giggling. Thank goodness for great friends...go Cookie!

This series has such a fantastic secondary cast of characters, both alive and dead. There's still a little hope left for her parents, but I definitely wanted to punch Charlie's dad for most of this book. Though her stepmom may have grown on me a little.

Can't wait to read the next book!

Review: Second book of the series starts with Destructive Delta raiding a branch of the Order of Asteria and capturing many members and discover bomb making material laid out as if just waiting for them to be made even though they got the material 2 months prior. then a bomb scare at a thieran registration center to cover the fact that the order got information from the center.which lead the order to the thieran children center that they bombed to draw out Dr. Shultzon (who worked with Ash and Sloane when they where teens, to prepare them for Joining THIRDS) who was going by the name of Dr. Freeman to protect his Identity. Isaac Pearce captured Dex and drugged him with a mind control drug which made Dex try to kill Sloane. He resisted enough to keep from killing Sloane even though he still attacked Sloane. If this wasn't chaotic enough. The Coalition breaks in and starts attacking the Order.

I enjoyed this read. It took me a little while to remember all the twists and turns of book 1 but it didn't take away from the enjoyment of this story. This instalment we see perspective switch the story from Scarlett to Donatella's and we learn more of what led to Tella getting involved with caraval in the first place. Like book 1, there were twists and turns aplenty and i enjoyed following each and every one. I am looking forward to reading book 3.

More of a 3.5 star read. There was so much potential for some seriously kinky shiz but they were either glossed over or not even realized. Not very often I want more smexing but I did here. They both had issues to work through which was done pretty well. I'm enjoying this series but hope the next book gets kinkier.

I really do love this series. Livvy makes me smile, she's absolutely evil in the best possible way. She just doesn't care and her honey badger self is more than happy to take on any other shifter even those that should in reality crush her. The jousting scenes may have been some of my favorite. I actually really appreciated the way that Livvy and Vic got together. It kinda of just slipped up on them and settled in nicely. It was cute.

I was really happy to see the shifter hunting storyline come to an end this way. Honey badgers are vicious when riled. Really stupid to piss off the entire family. :) Still I'm sad to see it finished because this is the last book in the series and I wish there were eons more to enjoy.

Review: This book was amazing, I never thought I could come just from reading a sex scene without help from my hand, but with this book I did it twice and while there were hot scenes nothing I would consider pornographic or lewd. This is the second of the series and having read the first and third before this I would say this is the one I liked best. but they are all great reads and Highly recommended. and while these can be read stand alone, read as a series they are so much better. I want more stories of this family of brothers who find the men that love and complete them.

I'm sad to say this book was a disappointment to me. I loved the first two even though Caspian drove me nuts. Arden and Caspian weren't even together for most of this one. We had to watch Arden doing the deed with someone else....Ewwww. I spent the entire book waiting for those rare glimpses of the two interacting. It was tiring. The writing was excellent but the way the story went wasn't really for me.

I'm not even really sure why I like this series so much. It's silly little paranormal erotica, but it always makes me smile. I really enjoyed this one. I liked Niall and the Devil. Lucifer's golf tournament is finally here and he needs the Scot as his caddy if he's going to win. Even then it'll probably take a little judicious cheating. But of course Aella's got to go collect his ass and make sure the Scot shows up for his new job.

They're silly stories but I do really enjoy the Devil playing matchmaker. It's just absurd, but at the same time you know Lucifer really does like a little bit of love.

Review: Book three of the Trent and Reed centered series. This book has Trent going of and getting into danger rather than FBI agent Reed and so Reed has to rescue Trent. Trent own half an art gallery and goes on a trip to Japan to oversee the appraisal of two art collections and the possible shipping of them to the LA based gallery, if they decide to buy them. Complications arise when the first collector is killed and Trent is the one that Japanese officials are accusing as the murderer. a bunch of funny stuff happen like the evidence going missing, Trent being released without authority of the prosecuter, yakuza involvement, and Reed going undercover to solve the murder. Even though accused and trying to stay under the radar, Trent discovers some important information through research and remembering.

I really enjoyed Will and Tacoda's story. It was a little bit of an insta-love story, but nothing too crazy. I liked how they developed together. Will's relationship with his father is contentious at best. There's a lot about the past that Will doesn't know about and his father's hatred for the Native American's seems extreme. While at times it felt like the extremes of Will and his father's relationship was too much, at the end of the day the explanation worked for me. I liked this story better than a lot of the Andrew Grey novels.

Will and Tacoda's relationship was nice. I don't know how accurate the cultural elements are in this story but I liked how the relationship between the tribe and Will's father played out. Everything here was pretty inter related and played well against each other.

This is probably my favourite instalment of the entire series. Its a nice mix of the innocence of the first two books but with the start of the darker more serious tones the remainder of the series has. I really liked the story lines in this instalment and the different threads J K Rowlings weaves through out the story. I fee like the first two books were really set up and the series really starts with this instalment. A very enjoyable read.
