Unwind
question
Did anyone else think the ending was predictable?

I read the book (and liked it) but I found the ending was very predictable and slightly cheesy (thinking of the Roland arm, Risa and Conner squishy love moment *cringe*) but I have to say I saw the ending coming... Just me?

No I didn't find it predictable. Trying to remember exactly how the first book ended. Thought Connor was a goner like Roland (he so deserved that) Actually experiencing the unwind was mind blowing and sad. The ending was very satisfying and left me wanting the next book. I couldn't wait to know how the graveyard worked out.
I thought it was very predictable but it was e really good book and I am in desperate need of the next one.
I think there were some things that were predictable (Connor and Risa in love, that was obvious) but other things really could have gone multiple ways. I thought it was a good way to end the story while still leaving enough things up in the air that you can't necessarily see exactly where things are going in the next book. I really liked the ending.
I had a feeling those three would be fine, but with Risa or Connor (I can't quite remember) losing a limb or whatever - I thought that was unpredictable for me. But I think the ending was entitled to a slightly predictable ending, due to how much content was written in the book which made you question things. So in that respect, there was absolutely no faults at all.
