The Nobel Prize winner in literature was announced this morning (Probably not actually this morning because it was in Stockholm and they are about 7 hours ahead of here). The writer is Herta Muller.

Has anyone read anything of hers? I looked up some of them this morning and they look interesting ... added one to my TBR list. A lot of them on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ were not listed in English though. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on her writing.

I've never heard of her but after reading the synopsis to Land of Green Plums I want to read it. It sounds interesting.

I added The Appointment A Novel to my TBR list. I'll have to check out that one as well.
