I cannot believe that we are already on the 10th edition of Tower Teams! Time flies when you're having fun :-)
If this is your first Tower Teams challenge, welcome to this fun team challenge!! If this isn't your first, when did you start playing TT?
This birthday edition is going to be so much fun, I'm sure!
Now, for the important bits.
Read the rules. If you're unsure, please read them again.
If you're still unclear, feel free to ask us team captains and we'll happily help you out. :-)
Tower Teams is a fairly easy and straightforward challenge, especially as it's "back to basics" with this edition. You read what you enjoy and the books will all go towards building us a few lovely towers. Whether you prefer shorter or longer books, there is room for everyone's tastes!
Aside from that, you can participate in reading the books of the month, answering questions to garner even more points. There are two per month and maybe a third one in the Backroom now and again.
And then, there are some extra tasks that are there for the fun of it, to make it interesting, add a bit of a challenge and generally get us aaall the points.

Hi everyone - another Aussie here. This is my 9th Tower Teams I started in TTII in Mango Tango but the names of the other teams have been lost in the mists of time, LOL. I read anything and everything from quick and smutty to tomes of literature and there is nothing I love more than hunting down those tricky books for mini challenges. You bet... I've been hanging out to see what happens to "Hot Prof" and his harem. 🤣. I didn't sign up for DQ's as I'll be travelling over the first month of the challenge and wasn't sure where I'd be or what sort of wifi I'll have but definitely be reading and answering questions when I can.

There is a mini summary under spoiler tags in the current Backroom BOM, so you may not even have to read the book. Or you could always read the discussions from the first two BOMs and then jump in with the third one, but be warned. It is not for the faint of heart hahaha.

Not.... yet, LOL. Actually it's pretty tame in the scheme of things in that genre. But apparently there are 8 books in the series so anything is possible. As someone said over in the thread... the books are terrible but the discussion is hilarious.

Hi All - I'm Michael, accountant by day, movie/book lover by day and night. LOL.
I'm in Indiana (yuck) USA, EDT. I have a habit of staying up until 2-3am reading and then having to be up for work in the morning and regretting it, but not enough to stop! LOL
I love to read a lot of different genres, but really like crime/thriller/mystery, some rom-com type stuff, recently been getting into historical fiction, and I love some good fantasy/magic themed books too.
This will be my first time participating in TT - and only my second book/reading challenge on GR. Currently participating in UNO which was my first challenge and I think I caught the bug. I don't typically read super long books, but I do like to keep my average between 300-400 pages.

Hi everyone! My name is Alisha and this is the second Tower Teams challenge I've joined. I'm a librarian from Ohio in the United States. Like Michael I also tend to read a lot of different genres and look forward to seeing what books you all give for recommendations.
I pledged 14 books a month which means I'll probably stick to shorter books unless I end up with extra time. I'm also pretty good at doing the BOTM discussions and I've also volunteered to do a few DQs so hopefully I or someone from our team gets picked!
