If you'd like to share some of your writing with your very own dangerous heroes, feel free to start a thread with your stories under this folder.

Please post a content warning if your story has:
1. Descriptive sex scenes
2. Violence
3. Swearing

Also include the genre: Romantic Suspense, Action Adventure, Historical Romance, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, etc.

You can feel free to give it a rating so that others will know before they dive in. Thanks for sharing. Members will respect your right to ownership of these stories.

I might share a story one day Danielle.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish The book I am writing has a couple of Alpha Male dangerous heroes in it. It's fun to write them!

There's some question though about whether or not it's wise to post snippets as many publishers would then consider it a published work and won't pick it up. :(

Oh, never post a story that you are wanting to get published.

Post stories that you don't want to get published, but want to share with others.

I don't desire to get published. I am a horrible writer, but hey, I have been writing for 22 years. This year will be 23 years. I love writing.

I'm very shy when it comes down to my work, but I have put my shyness aside and shared a few stories on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. I'm am only focusing on one right now. Courage. I can write to more than one story at a time, but my baby Courage will soon end.

Thank you for the input!!

I've been doing a little bit of that kind of thing over on another group I am in. I'm writing as Dhestiny and role playing is totally new to me, but it is writing and the bit I posted last night under Dhestiny's Day To Day got some favorable comments :)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Oh, and I wanted to add some other things... not only is the role playing writing helping my book writing, but writing reviews for good reads has really helped me be able to get inside a characters head and figure out what makes him/her tick and THAT makes my own characters easier to write!

That's why I write reviews and blog. It keeps my writing shining.

Blogging is something I'm totally afraid of trying. LOL What do you blog about? I follow some book reviewers and authors, but that's it so far.

I was pretty nervous about it in the beginning but yeah, it is kinda fun to get into a role and just go with it. That also helps writing!

I blog about books, TV shows, movies, etc.

I haven't blog about a TV show or movie in a while and I haven't blog about books since November, Nanowri.

I have to blog about Jock from Killer Dreams by Iris Johansen on my blog soon.

Ok, Danielle, help me out. I'm not good at these thread thingies. I can post a scene from my new novel, The Sin Eater's Prince where two vampires fight, one the hero, one the villain, but I don't know know to make the thread under WHICH? folder.

Can you make me a thread then here that says Keta's The Sin Eater's Prince and I'll post a scene of a bad-ass boy?

Gracias, Keta

Blogging and writing reviews definitely helps to polish the writing! Writing anything is exercise for the writing ability part of the brain. :)

Hi, Keta. Just start a new topic for your story. Under folder, select Original Fiction with Bad Boys. I would put your name on the topic thread as well. Does that make sense?

There's something going on with Blogger right now. I clicked on the B and it took me to the Blogger page. Not sure what the deal is. Sorry about that.

Yeah, I know some people enjoy it because they just like playing the game, but I look at it from a writing point of view, so I write it and plot it as I would anything else-- only there's more feedback in rp than writing alone which is great! Instant gratification, LOL. It is also a great way to explore a character, as you said. It's an excellent writing exercise. :)

Thanks Danielle.

Knowing my mind. A bad boy story might pop up anytime.

If Danielle doesn't mind, I want to add:

If your story is about same sex. Please warn us. Some people don't read those kind of stories and I am one of them.

Oh, also if there will be threesomes or even BDSM. Please give a warning.

Good point, Arch.

message 22: by Sandy (new)

Sandy Hyatt-James (sandyhyatt-james) I've written three novels. Two have been published, while the third has only just been submitted to a publisher. All three of my leading male characters are intelligent, independent and dangerous when crossed. If my heroes couldn't be alpha male, I just wouldn't write the stories. You see, I work on the premise that if I don't fall in love with my heroes, nobody else is going to.
