Help! Which Book Should I Read Next?

I really don't know what to read next.
I am really in the mood to read anything good but I don't really like slutty heroines.
I would really appreciate your help.
I have a few books I'm curious about:

Thanks!:)
Hi Lucy. Slave to Sensation is very good. It's an intriguing mix of paranormal and science fiction. I'd recommend that.

Acheron and Slave to Sensation are phenomenal! No slutty heroines in them if you don't like them. But aside from that, both books are amazing! I can't say for the rest because I haven't read them. :)

Glad you like them so far! Enjoy the rest of the series! :)

Hi Jessica. If you like IAD, you would probably like Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld. She has a good mix of sex, humor, and dark content.
Also Larissa Ione's Demonica series, although it's quite dark. There is some humor though.
The Darkest Night--1st LOTU book
Pleasure Unbound--1st Demonica book

Hilary, I don't think you can compare them, honestly. Yes, they are both about brotherhoods, but not much similarity otherwise. Just my opinion.
They both have the First Book Syndrome going on though.

Start with her Rock Chick Series - Steamy romance and hot alpha males! mmmm
: )
Good luck!

Glad to hear it, Jessica. That series can be hard to put down. I made myself take a break because I didn't want to buzz through all the books too fast.

I;m still in withdrawls from the Fever Series KMMoning and have tried some other stories but still looking(reading)for that book style, one long story over several books. Unlike a series where each book is different with overlapping characters.
THank you,
Jerricho Barrons is hard to let go!

Hey Jessica! I too adore Kresley Cole. Have you read Lothaire's book yet? I haven't, but I've been dying to get my hands on it. It's the only one I haven't read 10 Times ;)

Hi Eliza. Have you read Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling or Guild Hunter series? I highly recommend both.
Slave to Sensation 1st book in Psy/Changeling series
Angels' Blood 1st book in Guild Hunter series
Slave to Sensation 1st book in Psy/Changeling series
Angels' Blood 1st book in Guild Hunter series

Hilary, I'm right there with you! I love a series that stays with the same couple. I become so invested in them, and it's hard to put down the last book. Have you read the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews? It's UF also, and has a slow burning romance like Mac and Barrons.

It really is, Lady D! I've read it multiple times, and I'm still not tired of it. :)
Jaye, I deleted your post because it constitutes a promo. You can repost it in the promo section. Thanks.

Oh sorry. I guess I thought since it was a freebie, it didn't count.. Thanks for the update

I am about to go away for a long weekend without the kids and I am hoping to stockpile on some great books. I am still trying to feed my obsession for all things Kristen Ashley mostly because I love the possessive alpha bad boy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been saving my amazon gift cards for this so pluuueeezzz as many suggestions as possible.

I am currently in a contemporary phase. Thank you so much!

Have you read Briggs' Alpha and Omega series, Sally?
For something similar to the Mercy books, I really enjoy Eileen Wilks' World of the Lupi series, starting with Tempting Danger. It has a great love story along with a lot of action!

I love the Alpha & Omega Series!
Charles is soo Yummy! Tempting Danger sounds good is it more like Mercy or Aplha?
I would say maybe a little closer to the Alpha and Omega series, because Rule and Lily are a mated pair similar to Charles and Anna. There's lots of action, though, and every magical creature you can think of.

Which authors do you consider favorites? Can you list some of your favorite books, Shay? That will help me to make a suggestion. Thanks!

Cause if you are looking for something with lots of humor but is more romance with damsel in distress I would highly recommend Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick or Dream Man series.

Another that is lighter but again more CR would be Seduction and Snacks. I laughed so hard in parts of this book I was crying.

Another series I'm enjoying is Lauren Dane's

There are others but they are a bit more serious.
Enjoy whatever you decided on.

I don't think there is or ever will be anything quite like it, but I highly recommend the Warprize series by Elizabeth Vaughan for great fantasy romance.

Here is a werewolf series I liked:

This series then leads into The Kings series which is also good.
Another series for you to try is this one:
(this series is free also which is nice)

I just finished A Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian and really enjoyed it--Lucan Thorne was very hot!

I also highly recommend Larissa Ione's Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series (I'm reading Rogue Rider right now).

Oh, and Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series (I've only read the first one, but it rocked and I have the second waiting until I finish Rogue Rider).

I also really enjoyed Karen Marie Moning's first book in the Fever series. Jericho Barrons??? Whew! Planning to dig into the rest of that series soon.

If you like romantic suspense, I recommend Kristine Cayne's series, especially the second book, Deadly Addiction. She writes heroes that are too-die-for!

Well, that should be enough for now. Too many series, too little time! :)

I haven't heard of Kristine Cayne's series... I'll check it out. Thanks.

Just thought I would let you know that the Kristine books that were recommended are only .99 on Amazon for a limited time. I snapped up the first and second book! Thanks for the rec.

This is how it works: You post a short list of books you might want to read, and your fellow member suggests one of those books to read. It will probably be helpful to give a short description of the kinds of books you like to read, and what you're looking for in your next read, what your mood is. You don't have to take the suggestion, but it might help to get past that reader's block.
