Nominations for our August group read are now open (you've got a while to nominate). Please post your nominations and I'll update this list as we get nominations! If you could give us your top to-read nomination of the month!

Timescale:
Nominate up to 15 June
Poll 15 to 30 June
July for you to get hold of the book(s)
1st August - group read starts

The two most voted for books will be our August group reads. You can read either or both.

A poll will be posted about 15 June to run until 30 June, which will then give everyone a month to get hold of the book(s).

If your choice does not come top you can either renominate for September or see if any other members want to do a buddy read with you.

How many are we allowed to nominate? Only one? I have four on my TBR list that are sitting in my next to be read pile, and each are the first of a series. I'm not sure if any of these have been group reads yet, sorry I haven't yet checked back through all the posts. In any case they are:

If you haven't read it I think you should if you like Sidhe fae and vampires. I enjoyed it.

No, I haven't read it yet which is why I stuck it on the nomination list then looked up and saw that it was already on a previous group read. Don't worry, I plan on reading it soon. Once I have read it I will let you know what I thought. It sounds good.

Was wondering as some people nominate books they enjoyed and think others will rather than ones they still have to read.

Nah...I'd rather do one I haven't read yet. Gets me motivated to actually pick it up and read, especially if it's been pushed to the bottom of the pile but even better if it's the "next-to-read-".
