This conclusion to the trilogy was so good. It finally addressed all of the threads of the story line that had been left dangling. The crisis and resolution was so surprising and satisfying. A well-written novel with intriguing characters.

really enjoying this book in the stand alone series."
I love this book! I an listening to the audiobook. I also have the wispersync, so I can read it on Kindle. This my favorite Beverly Lewis book at the moment.

I greatly enjoyed this novel and am looking forward to reading more of the series. It was well-written; the characters were well drawn and truly interesting. I absolutely loved the female protagonist, Ruth. The plot was enjoyable with moments of great hilarity as well as those of sadness or apprehension. There was quite a surprising twist at the end that I didn't see coming at all, which was awesome.

Yes, I read just the first book several years ago and wasn't much of a fan in part because so much was left up in the air, but being a little older made me more sympathetic to the plot and I decided to read the sequels this time and overall, I do really like the trilogy. :) I'd just rather have it all in one volume. :)

I really loved this novel. The three-pronged plot was really interesting, and I loved the characters. I liked how well Abigail's spiritual journey through reading Scripture was portrayed. A very well-written, entertaining, and emotionally tugging novel.

Natalie: Don't be put off by Jessica's comments about The Wounded Heart by Adina Senft. I read it and loved it; in fact, I read it twice. I haven't yet read books 2 and 3 in this series, but I plan to soon.

I'm getting ready to take a weekend trip out of town and getting ready to start "Missing" by Shelley Shepard Gray. I have all three books in the series so I can't wait to start knowing that I don't have to wait to read the other two:)

I've got to say, although I didn't love The Wounded Heart it would definitely make for an interesting group discussion! I'd like to read the others in the series sometime.
I really enjoyed Missing. I've had the second book on my Kindle for a while now, just need to find time to read it!
Right now I'm reading a historical romance, To Whisper Her Name by Tamera Alexander.

After a slow start, this was a fun and interesting YA fantasy. The characters were well drawn, and I enjoyed the plot. I was completely surprised by the sudden betrothal and marriage near the end, however, even though it made for a fun denouement. Then, it was bit weird how several years of marriage and several children are all introduced within the last few pages. Overall though, I liked it.
