I finished Faith in Love in Lancaster by Daisy Fields earlier today. It is a nice conclusion to the series, but I hope she writes more books or novellas soon.

Finished Amish Hopes and Prayers by Becca Fisher. So good.

I bought A Hopeful Heart by Amy Clipston. I'm 75% done. It is good so far.

Just finished the Quilts of Lancaster series by Barbara Cameron. Loved them.

I'm 73% with an Unforgivable Secret. It is good.

6/26/13This was a good novel mainly about mother-and-daughter relationships, like the first novel Beach House. It's well written, the characters are well drawn and interesting. I really enjoyed it and learned a bit more about sea turtles again.

I'm reading Temptation by Karen Ann Hopkins. So far I love the book and hard to put down.

I think I read the sample on my Kindle. Cannot wait to read this.

This was a well-written and engaging historical novel. The characters were well drawn, and I enjoyed seeing them overcome obstacles and mature both as persons and as believers.

This was a suspenseful and interesting historical novel. The characters were well portrayed, and I enjoyed learning something about early Naval intelligence and about opium smuggling and consumption in America.

I'm 82% done with Noah';s Sweetheart by Rebecca Kurtz. It is good. Review soon.

I just finished reading Abigail's New Hope by Mary Ellis I enjoyed it.

Done with Noah's Sweetheart.

I also finished The Pieces of Summer and My Cousin's Keeper by Faith Brunell. These were decent.

@Janice: Loved the series. Just finished what should be the last two n books last week. I think that the Jacob'a Daughter series should be read first so you understand the characters.

I have read the first 2 books in Jacob's daughter series & have the 3rd one to read.

I read the series of Daughters of Promise & Land of Canaan enjoyed both series

This was an interesting historical novel. It was very well-written, and I really liked the characters and how they were portrayed. I enjoyed the look into Chinese history.

Finished Plain Pursuit and Plain Promise last night. So good. Don;t read them out of order like I did.

Natalie, I did the same thing! :) I think they should've numbered them. I read the third one first, but I would have preferred to read them in order.

The Xanth novels are a hilarious fantasy series about a land of magic and its inhabitants and occasionally some people from or in Mundania (the real world). One of the reasons I find the Xanth stories so funny is because Xanth is a land of puns. Even though I've only read a few of them and mostly random ones out of order, I've loved all of them, and this one was no exception. They are well written, the characters are well drawn, and the plots are a lot of fun.

I found Updike's writing style to be a little slow and ponderous, and there wasn't all that much of a plot. It was a decent historical fantasy but nothing to write home about.

I am planning to read the first one of this series next. I too like to read series books in order. I am getting a little frustrated at the library they will some times only carry some ebook copies of some series so I have to be really careful before I start a series to make sure I can get the books in order.

I just downloaded this to my Nook. I haven't read any books by this author yet. It sounds good.
