I just finished Courting Ruth as well, such a great book! Like you, I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Started The Nanny's Homecoming (Steeple Hill Love Inspiredlast night and I'm almost finished with it today, I am really enjoying it.

Finished The Nanny's Homecoming (Steeple Hill Love Inspired. I really liked it, loved the characters and storyline, and will read the next ones in the series when they come out. This is a July Love Inspired. Moving onto another Love Inspired book Courting Ruth.

Have any of you read any of Linda Castillo's books? I have just finished reading "Breaking Silence," by Linda Castillo, and I must say it was certainly exciting. It was not exactly what I have come to expect from Amish fiction, but I could not put it down. It really points up the fact that even the Amish are not immune to serious problems in some of their relationships. I am looking forward to reading Castillo's other books.

I just finished this one--and now plan to get the other books in the series. Some of it was pretty graphic, but the way Castillo portrayed Kate Burkholder, a formerly Amish woman trying to do her best as the sheriff, was just terrific.

I'm reading The Bridge of Peace by Cindy Woodsmall. It is good so far!

I am finally reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I am probably the only person on GoodReads who hasn't read it! 60 pages in and I'm wondering what took me soooo long to pick this book up!!!

I am listening to it as an audiobook, and it is wonderful! I'm about 50% done with it, and I don't want it to end!

Too many books right now. And I plan to start Kelly's Chance today too. I want to finish Lilly's Wedding Quilt by Kelly Long and also finish Remember by Karen Kingsbury. But first I want to read some Bible. :)

I have just received "Growing Up Amish," by Ira Wagler, and "Fall from Pride," by Karen Harper. Normally, I only read one book at a time, but in this case--since I couldn't decide which to read first, I am trying to read both of them.

"Fall from Pride" is the first book in a new trilogy from Karen Harper--her "Home Valley Amish" series. The second book, "Return to Grace," is projected for March, 2012, and the third book, "Finding Mercy," is projected for November, 2012.

"Growing up Amish" is an autobiographical memoir by Ira Wagler. So far, I have read about 50 pages of this book and about 100 pages of "Fall from Pride," and I am enjoying both books. Certainly, Wagler's book gives one a slightly difference perspective on what it is like "Growing Up Amish."

I am new to this group but I love Amish fiction. I am reading "blood of the prodigal" by P.L. Gaus. I noticed that a few other have mentioned his books but I like them (even though I am reading them out of order)

I am reading The Promise of an Angel by Ruth Reid. I started it while sitting court side as members of our church played volleyball in the 94 degree outdoors. I'd have been there with them if it weren't for a sinus headache.

I like Judith and Andrew. Levi seems to be a cad. Can't wait to see if my opinions change.

PMS and emotional books are NOT good for me, I got so emotional at the start of Abigail's New Hope.

I loved "Abigail's New Hope"--and the cover on the book is wonderful. The expression on her face is priceless!!

I read it last month. I really enjoyed it, but not as much as the first 2 in the series. I felt that it got a bit repetitive in places, and that all of the fuss could have been fixed if the main characters had just spoken to each other! A big pet peeve of mine, couples not communicating, it seemed a bit immature in this situation.

I just read this one, loved it! I'm now reading The Amish Nanny by Mindy Starns Clark on my Kindle, hope it'll be just as good. I'm also reading a "real" book, The Tapestry of Love by Rosy Thornton.
