No need to second a nomination. One nomination gets it into the polls to be voted on.

I was worried bc there's so many books coming out this month that I really wanted to buy, and I didn't want to have to choose. Yay, me!

Ha! I read that a few years ago and it was torture for me too! Not touching that one again either.

Anyway, this book brings some weird feelings, i guess it will be fun to re-read it.... So let's do it
Ok everyone, the threads are open for this month group reads. Head over the Group Discussions - have fun reading and discussing!!!

I also am a huge fan of Kurosawa, as well as Mizoguchi, and Ozu. Do you have a favorite Kurosawa film? I really like Throne of Blood and happened to see the world premiere of Throne of Blood in play format at the Shakespeare festival in Oregon. Have you started the Jacob de Zoet novel yet?

We will have two catagories this month:
Cat1- Regular Fiction/Non-Fiction
Cat2- Love Story / Romance theme
*Cat 2 does not have to be a bodice-ripper! It can be any contemporary or classic novel that revolves around love - and it doesn't have to be happy love either....
Only ONE nomination per person.
If you nominate a book for catagory 1, you CANNOT nominate a book for catagory 2, and visa versa.
Please be sure to post the title, author, and the catagory it belongs to.
If your post does not have those three things, it will not be counted.
Are you ready?
I will accept nominations through Wednesday afternoon. If we get tons of nominations, I may pull the plug on it a little early, so get them in as soon as you can!
Once I close nominations I will create the polls and let you know when it is time to vote!
Hit us with your best noms!
