Everyone invite your friends. :D
I'm Emily and I'm 14 and I loved Narnia and the Tripod trilogy.

Just a note, I am a new author and I'm trying to keep my eyes and ears open to what people are reading and what they would like to read. I've have written a book entitled 'All Hallows' Eve (on amazon.com) and have found that the interest has been pretty exciting. I would like to give a brief summary about the book, and if this is not the place for this, I apologize. Please let me know if I am stepping out of the guidelines for this site.
Summary: In the small town of Hampton on the eastern seaboard, two young boys discover that a supernatural entity w/ a real 'bad' attitude is trying to cross over into our world on the eve of Halloween. Thomas and Jesse, w/ the help of some of their friends try and stop this entity by using modern technology, but they also get a little help from an unlikely source. Our government. Not only have they known what was about to happen in this small town, but they would do whatever they can to keep others from finding out until they can 'contain' the situation. The residents of the town are drawn into a century old feud between ancient Warriors and super Witches from another dimension and this entity they've been hunting.
The characters find themselves struggling with the fact that 'real' magic does exist, and there's a battle about to be fought right in their town.
The book takes the reader on a fantastic journey to other dimensions with Warriors (both young and old) who aren't too bad on the eyes, and causes interesting situations when young 'human'male and females, meet young Warriors. The reader gets a glimise into their culture and lifestyle, while the teens try to train with the Warriors to learn how to fight and to keep their world from falling. All Hallows' Eve introduces the reader to huge flying 'Birds of Prey' and the sexy and loveable Warriors that fly them. And throughout the book are clues to the exciting conclusion. It will take you on one of the most fantastic Fantasy/Magical rides ever! A great read!
It sounds pretty good. I'll have to read it sometime.
Hi people. i go by Valkyrie and i'm 13. i guess i'll read anything that has a good plot, but it has to be appropriate. i can't even get myself to read Mockingjay. the end. AND I LIKE LORD OF THE RINGS!!! I'm almost done with "The Return of the King", in the second to last chapter: the scouring of the shire.
Hello! I saw the movies before reading the books, so I was really surprised at that chapter. At first, I thought the Sackville-Bagginses did all that.

Welcome! I am a huge LOTR junkie. I am reading the books for my fourth time. You are in one of the best parts in the book in my opinion. Please enjoy yourself, comment often. We appreciate a lot of comments. Thanks for joining. :D
And it's even cooler because this group isn't that old. We'll have billions of members by the end of the year.
probably. I don't know how to make my groups popular! Its not fair! :^)
You can send invite messages to all your friends.
Yeah. I made a just for fun totally pointless group called AWESOME GROUP!!! and there is only Connor, me and a girl named Hannah. I think. We just talk.

For books, I enjoyed Ender's Game, IRobot (And other Isaac Asimov stories) 2001 and 2010, as well as more young adult books like the Everlost trilogy and the Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, and Anne McCaffrey (I don't know if that's spelled right) books like Dragonsong.
HI YUMS!

My name is Logan. I am a voracious reader. I don't really care for Fantasy or Science Fiction as genres, precisely for the reason that I think they are largely commercial, washed-up knock-off's of the greats. My favourite novel is Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, and I am a huge fan of all his books. I study lots of languages, read many books, am interested in Religion and literary criticism, and have invented a language of my own.

I've read the original prose Beowulf. I understood half of it, which is pretty great.
