As Elle said it is just me keeping track of which books I have read by "our authors" this year. I have one of yours on my TBR list & one that I read last year :)

There are a few more authors on my TBR list & another couple that would be on a TBR list if they would hurry up and finish their next books!!

Jacquelynn, if you need any help setting your own thread, do let me know :) Challenge is open to anyone, but really it's just a way of keeping track of what we've read... it's just a bit more "official" on the forum (me putting pressure on anyone? Of course not!)

I'm so glad people are still using it :D!

& I don't like how it has altered to show all the books in a long line - I preferred it with one line of books per author, but I can't change it back :(

I lost all my collections on my kindle, I did try a reset to see if I could get them back. So I've spent time sorting the books on my kindle and have split the books that would have been in the old unread collection into three new collections -

I think mine went when I did a reset while my kindle was indexing.

Of course I didn't know it was indexing at the time.
It did give me the push to get organised but it took ages!

My Kindle last night decided to download every archived book. They have minds of their own don't they?!

Ha luckily for me I had only about 50 or so in there as most of my books (378 only now) are on my Kindle.

First I've ever heard of that happening!

Ghost in the machine, perhaps?

Ikr?! it didn't even reset or anything, it just kinda flashed and then started downloading everything. it turned the wifi on by itself too.

Update -- 39 books by 26 different authors.

Now that I have re-arranged the books on here to my liking, I just need to finish sorting the collections on my kindle. I didn't realise how many of "our authors" there are.
Where are they all appearing from?

Sounds like some of the things which happen in this house (which was built by a drum major in Napoleon's army). CD player switching on at 6 am, not having been used for weeks. Doorbells ringing in the middle of the night - nobody there. Guitar strings snapping when nobody touching them. Usually when somebody associated with the house has just passed away.

That's freaky Vic.

Things like that happen all the time in my Dads house! We have had a lot of deaths on that side of the family who were connected in some way to the house!

Your reading rate puts me to shame - I'm so far behind on my reading after I spend the first two months of the year learning lines for Someone Who'll Watch Over Me...

That's really freaky, stuff like that scares me.

I'm wondering how to fit a couple of books on my list - when I have eventually read them. They are collections of short stories - some of them by "our" authors.

I didn't realise Simon Haynes was in the group - I've been meaning to check out Hal Spacejock for years... one clicked that!

I'm amazed at the numbers of "our authors" - I'm sure my list isn't complete (I have a list on a spreadsheet trying to keep track of what books I might want to read)

(although some of them are the same people with different names)

That smiley is how I feel right now. It's like life is moving too fast for my brain to keep up.

I have to investigate Rosen's stuff at some point, I've read so many wonderful reviews. I think I downloaded some a while ago, but my TBR pile is now just insane...

I've finally managed the 50 different authors. Now I would just like to continue the list from post number 51 so that it is at the top of the next page and easier to find. If Patti will let me.
