I found out a few years ago that I enjoy reading Japanese and Korean literature that are translated into Chinese by Taiwanese publishers so much better than the English versions. This was the tradition Chinese version of Human Acts and was translated brilliantly. The English translation was acceptable but stirred up less emotions in me.
