well, nearly a third of the way through the book and it is FINALLY mentioned that 'Da' is her grandfather. i thought maybe we had some kind of father [Da] vs mother & step-father [Mom & Dad] situation going on and was so confused about the whole thing. kind of something that should have been touched on earlier. all in all this book is just NOT pulling me in like schwab's other stuff. it's way too 'Standard YA' so far

ok this book is amazing so far but apparently the thing that gives the magickal butler his power is called his 'fetish' and it's lost so they keep going 'we need to find your fetish' and i'm sorry but i'm 12 and i can't stop laughing. please find it soon because i have to stop reading that phrase lmao

i just really hate how NOT into this book i am. i mean i've been looking forward to reading it for forever and who doesn't love awesome scifi/fantasy ladies but all the stories are just so lackluster and i feel like i've been reading it for months without making much progress :((( also when i backed the kickstarter for the 2nd one i did the option where i got like ALL of their anthology books so #oops lol
