Putting on pause in response to pressure from other library books who's due dates are sooner than this ones'.

There's a lot of flicking back and forth between the notes and the narrative with this book, so if that's not something you're interested in this may not be the book for you.

It really breaks up the flow of the story, but I only flick back for notes I know have added information rather than just bibliographical stuff that I don't care about (for each chapter I memorise which numbers are worth looking back at).

I saw the movie years ago and really enjoyed it (learnt something new about WWII), I hope this is as good (a reviewer on my library website said it was poorly written with too many details, so I'm a little nervous).
