This should be where the whole series ends.

Girl meets vampire. Girl "falls in love" with vampire. Vampire puts her in mortal danger (multiple times) and decides that now is finally a good time to leave her the fuck alone. Girl mopes for four months. Girl finds happiness with actual, normal guy. Girl finally forgets about said vampire cause he was a creepy and gross bastard. Done.

Honestly, THIS is what a relationship is supposed to be like:

"...I was enjoying myself more than I'd thought possible..."
"...I found myself asking questions, not even pretending, truly curious to hear what he had to say."
"Getting to spend time with Jacob was just a much bigger perk..."
