How can you possibly quit reading NOW. You aren't human!

The question should rather be: How can Sonny possibly have done this to one of my favourite fictional characters ever? I want to find a hole, crawl into it and die.
Keep reading, damn it. Kill Sonny later.
Best to lance the wound open all at once. This way it's death by a thousand cuts.

ROFL! Maybe that's the best way to read the first few chapters--blitzed!

This I can get behind ^.^

I liked chapter 9 *little voice*

Yes, 1000x, yes. :P"
LOL - not adding it to the mountain then!!

Its awful in a good way if that helps. The books are overly wordy but the characters consume you in the best way possible.

When you've spent a considerable amount of time (or about 1500 pages, or three installments) learning to care about these characters and then see them go through hell and beyond without a sign of them ever coming back, then yes, Becs. It's awful. But it's like a train wreck. You can't take your eyes off it.

Like Jenn said, this is awful and awesome and all-consuming and painful and wonderful. All at the same time. If you like m/m, dystopian, angsty stories, and you don't mind the length, then you should definitely read this series. It's definitely worth the time and effort. And it's free.

:) If you have a Kindle, just PM me and I'll send the files your way.

Thanks Lenore - I do and I will. :-)

Not that I'm complaining but, gurl, why are you subjecting yourself to this all over again? Why don't you just read the new parts?

I"m going to skim for sure. I don't think there is any way someone even if they paid me to read Chapter 9 again could I do it. Once again its great for the story, great for the characterizations, fits, but utterly gut-wrenching. But, I'll def reread Chapter 14. Skim the rest.

Shit. (view spoiler)

Shit. [spoilers removed]"
Yes. Yes, fucking yes. Kate and I think a few others liked that chapter, and I understand the reasoning, but seriously I cried and cried. For everyone.

Shiiiiiiiit!!!!! I'm already suppressing the urge to start pulling my hair out.

It might not affect you as much. It didn't bother Aiko if I remember correctly. For me, though Idk it was devastating on so many accounts. :-/

Girl. To paraphrase Boyd, I love Sin more than life itself. What do you reckon'll happen?

I love Sin too. But in the context of it all, it didn't bother me. It hurt. Of course it did. But it wasn't that "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THIS YOU NUTBALL"-fury..it was the "well...my heart is already pulled out. run over about 15 times. salt all over the wound, and it's still bleeding"-pain, that results in me going "oh...cope however you can cope, I'll just sit here with my bottle of vodka and try and forget".

Aaaaargh!!!! Are straitjackets cheap in Norway? I'm gonna need a couple.

Just keep soldier on Len! I'll sit here ready with the vodka when it's needed.
I wouldn't mind putting a straitjacket on a couple of the people from the agency though..then throw them into Sin's cage, and forget about them.
