When do things ever get better for Rachel? I'm ready for something happy. Every single aspect of her life is depressing. I think I'd give up if I had her life...seriously, girl has no happy times, ever.

Poor Rachel. People keep sh**ting all over her, and now THIS? Girl needs a break, and a hug, and I think I love Marshall...if only he stays the good guy.

The next book is a little "happier" I think. It was my favorite so far of the series.

I love Ray Ray. Honestly I don't really think about her being too emo. This UF is on the lighter side compared top some things I've read. I think it's because she keeps her sense of humor. So much has happened since this book... This was one of my least faves.

I think my issues with this series is that I see Rachel as being a happy sort of person, but every single book and every situation is a constant beat down for her. Every. Single. Thing. that happens to her not only sucks, but a lot of it is devastating. And I don't like Ivy. That chick is the biggest Debbie Downer evah!
There's just not much happy in this series.
Well that makes the happy ending ever the more valuable imo when we get there, and we will. That Rachel doesn't let it get her down much which makes all the difference for me. I even find myself laughing a bit.

The series is going to end at book 13. The author is planning happy endings for all. And yes, I read UF a lot. It's my genre of choice everytime. I have to be in the mood for PNR, but I can do UF anytime. The Hollows is my far and away #1 favorite series, so I could be biased, lol. I've got a blog if you want to check it out where I review the books and hold giveaways and whatnot. I have one coming up tomorrow for all of my followers actually :P:
