I know Nyriss isn't as powerful as the Emperor, but geesh, you don't have to have Gary Stu wipe her out in two paragraphs. A little FIGHT and STRUGGLE would do our Gary Stu good.

Another mention of Basic being the universal language??? It was weird the first time; doubly so here.

Still puzzling over the three year time skip. I appreciate the book not rushing and having everything happen in two days, but what is the point of skipping three years?

New fans would probably not be reading a book starring a character made famous in an RPG. Drew, WHAT HEPPENED TO YOU? Y u make me cry?
