That's why I always read two books. Otherwise I stop reading when I hit books I hate.

but it seems like you are reading it ?.? Like I am trying to avoid reading Speaker for the Dead?
I am re-reading Anna Dressed in Blood. I like that. I am trying NOT to re-read SftD because I just shout at it.
I am reading it, but I don't WANT to be. SotD wasn't that bad! I liked it, anyway! Children of the Mind and Xenocide though? Yeah...
Those bugged me too. Especially the stereotypes and stupid Valentine saying IT'S GOOD TO HAVE A MAN EVEN IF HE'S AN ABUSIVE JACKHOLE! NO WAY!But read my rant on it because this is MAKING ME MAD. This one little kind of plot contrivance that I DO NOT LIKE. If I do that in a book I demand to be SHOCKED into not doing that.
I Dnf'd it. :-( I really can't wait to see what you think.
