Well, it's only 200 or so pages--I am on 100ish and she just finished the back story. And it's very large print. I've heard there's a cliffhanger--maybe instead of a sequel you could have just done 1 regular sized book?I appreciate the current events/"what might happen if we continue on this path" slant--it's approximately 100 years in the future and the Bill of Rights is obsolete, you have to obtain travel passes from the government, poor kids can't go to college, etc. Basically, no personal freedom and a Big Brother state.
But the writing is so formulaic. And dorky. Young teen: "Mom, this fish is going to be really delicious." Whatever.
Hey, maybe the second half of the book is going to knock my socks off. I'll be sure to let you know. ;)
LOL! Maybe the title should have been a clue?? (:
The Line. LOL. As in "Our interest has flatlined." LOL.
