And after that latest cringeworthy amorous episode our much more likeable heroine Mae will end up going out with that nice-but-boring senator just to wind up Justin, which he would fully deserve admittedly... I'm finding the premise intriguing, shame that the characters are so bloody predictable. :(

On paper many things about this book should put me off, but I find myself intrigued by the 'hero' who is not very heroic at all... Though I'm getting a bit exasperated with his utter man-whorishness.
