Oh GOD! You poor thing!! A student conned me into reading the first one and gave me the second as well. I had no other choice but to read at least the first one; I didn't want to break her poor, little reading spirit! But the second book? I found a convenient way to avoid reading that one!

Fangs for Fantasy will have to pay for that one in the afterlife! What an evil, evil soul!!

Yikes and I think this one is the worst of the series (don't ask me why I kept reading, I'll have to admit I have no good reason)

All I can say is: keep the alcohol close by. Maybe it'll at least numb the pain from having to read this atrocity.

@Rachel: I couldn't go past the first one. I really didn't like. I guess books with angels just aren't my thing... I've tried a few and couldn't get into any of them. The characters in this book didn't help either. :/

@Kat: I'd suggest you make lots of notes and write a super-rant. :) And of course, do see if the Fangs for Fantasy has a similar program. xD

I would not suggest it since the quality is appalling. But, of course, do what your heart tells you. Just maybe look in a second hand store for a cheap copy.

Is there a rule that says you have to finish and write a review? If so, then they are definitely evil. Your review of the first book gets a steady stream of trolls weekly still, so I'd imagine that would happen all over again with this one.

No. And to be honest, I doubt I'll finish it. It's simply too painful, and life is too short.

Ah, good. Definitely read something you like instead. I haven't had the luxury of being able to read as much as I used to so I really value finding good books. No point wasting time on shit.

I definitely wouldn't have tried except for this reading program we have. Usually my policy is that I'll only read books I think I'll like. I agree with you - I don't have time to hate-read.

Oh you poor woman :( I'll pray that your eyes don't roll out of your head. I didn't even get two chapters into 'fallen' before I set it down, I can't imagine continuing the nonsense

You could always pick through the spark notes and just chunk the actual reading lol
