Not sure if I like this one. I've met two central characters so far, and I don't like either of them. I dislike them strongly enough I had to put the book down and walk away for a while. Obviously Pulley knows how to really bring these people to life. Hats off for that one.
I want to like this book. I'm intrigued by the premise and I'm a sucker for period fiction. I'll not give up just yet!

Honestly not sure how I feel about this one. So far I've met two of the central characters and I don't like either of them! I dislike them enough that I had to put the book down - obviously Pulley knows how to make characters believable!
I want to like this one. I'm intrigued by the world and I'm a sucker for period fiction so this *should* be right up my alley. I'll not give up just yet!
