How important is indoor plumbing anyway? And it's not bigamy/adultery if your husband isn't born for another 160-odd years. I'd stay with Jamie!

I'm already seeing the appeal of Jamie Fraser. Good story.

Miss Kim All these pesky moral decisions...lol. I'd stay with him too!

Annie I'd stay with him, buuuuuuuutttttttttt indoor plumbing would have me thinking about it.

Katie(babs) I'd give up running water and toilets for Jamie.

Rochelle I don't really feel it's adultery because Claire doesn't know whether she could definitely go back and yes, Frank isn't born yet!

Missyb I don't know, giving up indoor plumbing for someone would be hard to do. I apreciate not having to make sure a animal is not alread occupying the toilet, or stepping on something on your way to the outhouse, and definately enjoy not having to get dress in the middle of the night in the winter to go to the outhouse

Missyb My Mom mentioned that one of the Kim Harrison books is about Christmas and the big bad vampire character is talked into playing Santa by his wife/mate & so many come to the party just to see him dressed like Santa because he is such a mean grouchy kind of being. Does anyone have an idea as to which book it is?

Danielle The Book Huntress Could that be in the Holidays Are Hell collection, Missyb.

Rochelle, as to the adultery issue. It sort of is, but it sort of isn't. I decided I was okay with it b/c:

1)The two different husbands exist in two different times. Technically, Jamie is her first husband. :)

2)Jamie is clearly her soulmate, and that's why she ended up going back through time b/c they were destined to be together.

3)I want to be okay with it, b/c I simply adore Jamie and Claire is a couple, and I'm kind of 'meh' about Frank. :)

Indoor plumbing is a wondrous thing, but there's only one Jamie, and I think it would a lot more fun living in 18th century Scotland than modern-day (at that time) Scotland/England.

Isn't that in one of the Feehan Carpathian books??
