The Book is getting easier to read and harder to put down!! The author does a good job with the characters and Liesel has captured my heart and curiosity already. I think it is going to move along faster than I anticipated. I was a little intimidated by the German words that occasionally appeared at first but the author does a good job blending in the meanings and makes it very easy to read.

I will also add, this a time period I don't normally read about because it is a point in history I find heart wrenching so I am reading it a little slower to soak in the words and customs of that time that I don't understand. There are foreign words but they are explained and usually put in English after wards. But don't get discouraged it is an easy read so far.

Just started this book. it took me a page or 2 to figure out the narrator and was a little confusing at first but is a page turner.
