The "'magic trick" has always been one of the stand out parts of the Tommyknockers for me. It thoroughly disturbed me and I found I thought about it a lot when I first read it...it never left me. I loved listening to it this time around. Just one of those things that stuck with me I guess...

Re-read!! :)
When I first read this, I loved the first 85% of this book. The ending was such a let down. I hope my re-read gives me a greater appreciation for the ending.
If not, it's only 28 hours of my life wasted....
