Fables: really like the narrator if this one, really honest in its horror.

Za: One of if not my favorite of the collection. Such an engaging head to be in for a few pages.
A Premonition: My favorite one of the shorter stories. That final image is very spooky.
Radical Closure: Though I think it's the charm of the book, most of the ideas from this story have been seen and talked about better in other stories.
White Dialogues: Freaking crazy. What a way to stress about the end of the world.

Destroy all monsters: this one was just cool to live in. Such an interesting representation of the mind and how it can imagine and create worlds.

Two Guys Watching Cujo on Mute: this one confused me but I thought it used form in a cool way. Maybe this could be an excuse for me to never get a dog though.

Ekphrases: more spooks, that all together, make me feel like I’m being watched by that nightmare of a face. How do we misunderstand the world in a way that gets us hurt?

Since they’re short stories I’ll do updates. House-sitting:PANIK! Pretty spooky with a really good cliff hanger. I like how it navigates the mind. The first second person story I’ve enjoyed. Also a really good metaphor for analyzing literature which was meta. The Bookcase: kept getting a little lost with who and when people were talk/telling a story but I thought it pulled apart personal narrative in a cool way
