So it naturally took a little effort at the beginning because I was learning who's who, but it picks up when the main character is born. AND THEN there's the June '67 war! Man, war is a whole lot different up close and personal than it is on television. And now it appears that the plot is about to take a turn. So basically, if one can "enjoy" a book where bad things happen to good people, then I'm appreciating this book a lot.
