this is why i started with throne of glass and read assassins blade later on. i couldn’t get into it without context lol.

We trust in SJM 🙏🏻 push through, it’ll connect more as you get further into the storyline of the main books!

Yeah - varying opinions but I think Assassin’s Blade works better after Book 2 or 3, once you have more context of the setting/characters. Even tho it’s a prequel it wasn’t published til later on! Starting with TOG #1 is always my rec 😊

First of all, for the love of God, do NOT look up the fanart! Second of all, I know for a fact that you're sooo confused right now with where the story is going but keep reading it!! That is one of my fav novellas ever and it's so dear to my heart. I hope you'll get throught it and hopefuly love it, as the rest of the series.❤️‍🩹🫀

that's fair -- i get it :) i hope you love ToG! i've almost unanimously heard that ToG is the better series

i understand completely LOL i am a person who needs context in everything i do, so it's a little hard going in blind but i'm sticking with it hahaha

confused, for sure!!! it just jumped right in and i was not prepared hahaha. i'll definitely be finishing, though. i know it'll be worth it!!! still refraining from looking at fan art, too !

This is why I’m considering jumping into ToG first and reading this later on. I’m worried I’d feel lost too 😅 I hope you’ll enjoy this :3
