dnf - the characters are unlikely. catherine tries so hard to be scandalous. at the beginning of the book I admired her but she changes her appearance not out of own interest but to come off as wild. pitch of the book would be; husband is stuck in france with his mid-life-crisis wife and does everything she wants because he has avoidance issues.
