Tom Wood Hi Jade, I do a lot of research but I don't tend to include as much of it as I used to do so in the earlier books as it's not everyone's cup of tea
Tom Wood Hi Neil, sorry for the late response. It's not Amazon or Google but the US publisher that is to blame as they're no longer publishing my books in North America. I'm making alternative arrangements and Victor will return in 2024. Please signup to my newsletter and/or follow my social media accounts to stay updated
Tom Wood Hi Shaun, sorry it's such a long wait but Victor will return in 2024. Please signup to my newsletter and/or follow my social media accounts to stay updated
Tom Wood By now BLOOD DEBT has been released so I hope you have been able to get your hands on it, and Victor 12, tentatively titled FIREFIGHT, will be next...
Tom Wood I am terribly sorry it's been such a long wait for Victor to return to the US but 2024 will definitely be the year so I hope your patience can hold a little longer. And yes, it's been an incredibly frustrating time for me too
Tom Wood There hasn't been a North American release of those books so far and the UK edition is restricted by territorial licensing so the ebook and audiobook are not available outside the UK. It's a publishing issue and I'm hopeful it will be resolved before too much longer.
Tom Wood No update at this moment but I am waiting to hear news to that end. Rob is as keen to narrate the new books as my North American listens are to hear him once more and hopefully the wait between titles won't be very long
Tom Wood Yes, a translation is currently underway. Apologies for the delay but publishing is a complicated business. Hope you enjoyed it when the time comes

Tom Wood Thank you, Brandon. There are plans but the pandemic slowed everything down to a crawl that has yet to pick up speed again. But I'm working on it and hope to have good news in this regard early next year.
Tom Wood There will, definitely, and Mr Shaprio will be reading it. I'm really sorry it's not already available but hopefully 2023 will be the year.
Tom Wood Yes, absolutely. I feel that this is a Raven plot-line, so would be linked to her as opposed to Victor
Tom Wood Hi Tan, sorry for the late reply, but yes, I'm currently writing Victor 10 for release later this year. Really great to know you enjoy the series and I do hope you'll enjoy Victor's next adventure too
Tom Wood Hey Daniel, great to have you as a fan but I'm afraid I'm not currently reading any similar series. In fact, I've tried to stay away from anything like my own writing for quite a while now. However, I know I share a lot of readers with Mark Greaney and Gregg Hurwitz, both of whom I've met and are lovely guys, so if you haven't read them yet then I think they would be a good place to start. Or if anyone else is reading this and has some recommendations for Daniel, please chime in. Really hope you enjoy the new book!
Tom Wood In the first book, he had a chalet in Switzerland, which we can assume had been his home for some time. Once he'd been tracked to it, it was compromised and he's been on the move ever since. In THE GAME, he had a cabin in Iceland, and whilst no similar property is mentioned, I think it's reasonable to assume he uses similar safe houses. I can't imagine him having another property like his Swiss chalet, however. Victor knows very well that even he can be found, and any length of time spent in one place is only going to make it easier for his enemies to find him. Although, now you have me thinking about what a second generation Victor home would be like, so perhaps I'll change my mind one day.
Tom Wood A Quiet Man will be out in the UK, IE, and Commonwealth nations 27/05/21. For other countries, please sign up to my newsletter to stay informed.
Tom Wood I don't really read many thrillers these days; they're not as enjoyable now I'm writing them as when I was only reading them. But I still read Lee Child almost every year, although I see those more as detective fiction so perhaps the series shouldn't count.
