THE Q Book Club Wrap Up
Hey! So you've finished your first reading of The Q? Great! I've got a wrap-up Q&A, as well as some random facts. If you haven't read The Q, there are some hints/spoilers to the plot below.ÌýYou can find .Ìý

I’ve not made things easy for you.
’No, that you certainly have not.
’B±ô³Ü²Ô³Ù.â€
Mr. Arch squared his gaze on Quincy. ‘You’ve always impressed me as a person who prefers a straight answer.
Although Quincy had never trusted in what could not be seen on paper or before her face—i...

Soundtrack for THE Q
Spoiler Alert: This is the soundtrack for the entire book, so if you're not quite finished, beware that there might be some light spoilers ahead.

I hope you've been enjoying your time in Rhysdon! But now it's time to add some music to the mix! I've listened to this soundtrack many times but it's been a little while now, so I look forward to playing it through again. If you'd like to join me, you can find The Q's soundtrack .
Also, I am in the process of transferring this page into a play...

Where On Earth Is Rhysdon?
Many readers have wondered where exactly is Rhysdon, as there was no map included in the book.ÌýWell, there are several clues found in the pages of the clue. It's a bit of a game. For example: James Arch, traveling to London, mentions he will be crossing both channels. That is because Rhysdon is the capital city of an island nation called Greater Rhysdon. We know from The Q that it has its own monarchy and its own government, and while there are influences similar to bo...

THE Q Pinterest Board
Putting together a Pinterest board for The Q was hard! Because Rhysdon (and the country where it resides) is not London, England or Paris, France or Vienna, Austria... It has some commonalities, and some differences, of course. But, you know... Also, the characters. The fashion of Rhysdon had its own twist, separate from London and Paris of the late 1890's, so I couldn't pull too many paintings. To say nothing of Quincy's wardrobe. The moral of the story is, I will have to do a lot of sketche...

Beth's Summer Book Club Schedule for The Q and The Beast of Ten

±á±ð²â!Ìý
I hope it's a good morning for you all. It's a beautiful one for me. I'm sitting outside while the hummingbirds are flitting about. Various other birds are being quite conversant and a soft sun is filling the garden. I'm actually very fond of Monday mornings, this morning is no exception.
I wanted to post the remaining schedule for my Summer Book Club! It's been fun to see the participation with The Books of Imirillia, and it should be enjoyable to finish off with The Q and The Beast of...

The Wanderer's Mark Book Club Wrap UP
Spoiler Alert! This book addresses thoughts and themes from the end of this trilogy. I would recommend reading The Queen's Gambit, The Ruby Prince, and The Wanderer's Mark before reading this blog post.

In loss the Illuminating God declares a journey. His mortals release their loves, just as the desert is stripped of its beauty, and they, His children, are hollowed and hallowed. For loss is His sanctifier. The First Scroll
Will there be more Imirillia books?
Yes, actually. I didn't think...

Five Sketches of Imirillia

Write here

In a perfect world, a world where I not only have massive amounts of time but also inhuman discipline, I would be an accomplished artist. Alas. Time is a brutal sergeant and one must make decisions. So, I am a bit of a dabbler. But. All that being said...ÌýI love illustrations from beloved books. And I love the idea of being able to capture some feeling or color or pulse from my own worlds which so vividly exist in my mind. So over the last few years, I've been dabbling. Slow...

A Wanderer's Mark Pinterest Board
Creating this board started out as a challenge, I think because I wasn't sure how to capture the journey, and consequent feelings, of the book...

Specifics for and  boards were perhaps easier to look for because I was defining one setting, one culture, more or less. Here the challenge was to reveal not only the changing landscapes, but the strains of the souls involved. Some paintings really came through, especially the scenes of battle. I look forward to ad...
