Joan Mir贸 (Barcelona 1893 - Palma 1983). Nascut al Passatge del cr茅dit, els seus paisatges emocionals, els que el formaran com a persona i artista, s贸n sobretot Mont-roig, Par铆s, Mallorca i m茅s tard Nova York i el Jap贸. Mont-roig, una petita poblaci贸 de la comarca del Baix Camp, ser脿 el contrapunt de l鈥檃gitaci贸 intel路lectual que viu a Par铆s als anys vint al costat dels poetes surrealistes, i de l鈥檈st铆mul de l鈥檈xpressionisme abstracte que descobreix a Nova York als anys quaranta.
