Susan Reeves deMasi Not in my opinion. Scythe was extremely imaginative and thought-provoking. This one seemed more ordinary, although it is an enjoyable read.

You never know with Neal Shusterman, though - I think Unwind was just meant to be one book and then it became a series.(less)
