I don’t feel like Blue’s obsession with Nazi Germany was ever addressed. Can we assume he got past this? Also, what was the point of the book club minutes at the end? Did I miss something?

Like this is an interest he has that no one wants to hear about or talk about with him and that they think is tasteless at best and sick at worst. This is how most people who are not in Patricia's book club treat her interest in true crime books. Her shared interest in these books open her up to real friendship with other women in her community but Blue's interest and the lack of support he gets for it just opens him up to being groomed by James.(less)
