Ran Zilca asked this question about Tao Te Ching:
I'm familiar with Stephen Mitchell's translation and with Ursula Le Guin's. Seems clear from both translations that there is a significant difference... How does this translation compare? Curious about it if anyone has any input. Thanks!

She intuits her own English version. Not exactly a translation. Mitchell also does not read Chinese but pulls off the same trick. His has a Western/Christian bias that creeps into his translation occasionally and thus I don't care for it.(less)
