“Chit鈥檚 tendencies can become pure [transparent] in front of God, but people don鈥檛 have this knowhow. The easiest solution to purify chit鈥檚 tendencies is to associate with a person who has the least amount of desires and the ultimate solution to make them pure is the inner visual contemplation (niddidhyasan) of the Vitarag (the enlightened ones who are free of all attachments).”

“The person who wants to progress on the path of Vitrag (the enlightened ones), should keep the focus of the awareness to progress from the non-auspicious (bad) to the auspicious (good). And if one wants to go to final Liberation [moksha], he should keep 鈥榩ure focus as the Self (Soul)鈥� (shuddha upayog). The person, who wants to go to Moksha, should not concern himself with the auspicious (good) or the inauspicious (bad). He should keep them both as the things to be cleared out.”

“Whatever the world does, is indeed all a natural discharge [disposal of karma]. You may chant God鈥檚 name, you may do penance; it is all nature鈥檚 discharge. If someone garlands you, how is he obliging you? And if someone picks your pocket, how is he hurting you? One is instrumental in the charging (creation of new karma), but in the discharge, it is only nature鈥檚 doing. This is the ultimate vision of the Vitraags, the Enlightened ones free of attachment.”
