However, Madeline Miller tells the story focusing on Circe's own interpretation of the events, which makes her a very likeable character and the reader has no choice to nod in agreement to her every action.
It should be an odd decision to read an English novel in Turkish... it was just to hone my Turkish reading skills and this can be considered as my first book read in Turkish. Anyways, my pace was slow but I enjoyed every single part of the book. Through the eyes of Circe one can feel ancient world and also a great review of greek mythology for me ....more

گوش دادم ولی بیشتر دیدم. کتاب صوتی با صدای آرمان سلطانزاده که به تک تک شخصیتا قدرت بیان احساساتشون رو داده بود و طوری نوشته ها از درون و زیبا خونده میشدن که تمام جملات بزرگ علوی رو میشد به صدای باد تشبیه کرد. صدای بادی بین درختا که به درون آدم نفوذ میکرد، که می تونست آرام و نوازنده باشه مثل یک روز آفتابی، زیر سایه درختان، دراز کشیده رو به آسمان با بادی خنک... و کمی بعد تبدیل بشه به لحظه ای پر از ترس و اضطراب و زوزه مثل نیمه شب بین درختا، تاریک، سرد، و گمشده. یا شبیه صدای دریا که گاهی تسکین دهنده و اطمینان بخش و گاهی مواج و ترسناک و پر هیاهو....more
One of the best plays I've ever read. especially for its genuine idea of putting shorty short stories in the play. And what terrific stories! این چهارمین اثر و دومین نمایشنامه ای است که از آقای ایرانی خواندم و بلا استثنا باید بگویم، تا به اینجای کار، بهترین اثر ایشان هم است. البته ایشان کتاباین چهارمین اثر و دومین نمایشنامه ای است که از آقای ایرانی خواندم و بلا استثنا باید بگویم، تا به اینجای کار، بهترین اثر ایشان هم است. البته ایشان کتاب های زیادی نوشته اند (که بنا به دلایل سیاسی، ایشان از دوره انقلاب تا همین چند ماه اخیر ممنوع القلم بوده اند. بگذریم از اینکه در حال حاضر توفیر چندانی حاصل نشده، چون اکثر آثار ایشان ممنوع الچاپ باقی مانده اند) و مطمئنا آثاری هستند از ایشان که مثل "قتل" فوق العاده باشند، شاید هم بهتر! در یک کلمه: عالی ...more
